Hi! We are Emily and Logan, the owners and founders of Lolo’s Playhouse & Café.

We wanted to bring a safe, Montessori-inspired, indoor play space (with lots of coffee for the caregivers), to Burlington, Iowa. With Logan being Active-Duty Military, we have lived away from the Burlington, Iowa area since 2015. We have been able to experience the many play spaces that California, Georgia, and Florida had to offer. This sparked the idea that when we eventually moved back to Iowa, we wanted to open a play space of our own for the community.

Emily was a preschool teacher before deciding to be a stay-at-home mom. She understands the firsthand value of having a stimulating indoor play space for the developing mind. As parents ourselves to two little girls, we understand the importance of providing opportunities for play and socialization for both, kids and caregivers.
